The Sun Villa is a groundbreaking residential concept developed by Smart Box Industries to redefine modular living. Built using six XL36 custom modules, this luxurious villa merges contemporary design with intelligent, sustainable construction. Set on a 450 sqm plot, the home features expansive living spaces, ensuite bedrooms, a master suite, dedicated office, dual kitchens, and outdoor leisure areas including a swimming pool—showcasing the full potential of modular architecture in upscale residential design.
Why did the client choose containers?
This self-initiated concept project was born from our drive to innovate within the realm of modular construction. By using our proprietary XL36 modules, which extend beyond traditional container dimensions, we aimed to demonstrate how container-based structures can achieve both luxury and sustainability. The format allows for faster build times, superior energy efficiency, and design flexibility—essential for modern residential needs.
